A hard fought victory today against a well organised Long Bennington team. Matt took his goal well after some good work on the touchline by Jamie. Ben Fender's corners were dangerous all match and it was no suprise when his inswinging corner was headed in to his own net by an unlucky Long benington player. Then the whole team played with a lot of heart to keep our lead. Both Wilf and Josh played well in goal and Jaydon had his best game yet for the Lions - but man of the match was Dan for his dynamic display. Ben K's throws were a constant threat and crazy legs Archie produced some good last ditch tackles.
