More "off" than "on" day.
By Ian Holmes.

Hard Luck today boys.

It was one of those days where we played more as individuals than a team. Well done to Bingham who are a good side but we let them dictate the game to us just like we dictated last week to our opposition.

We showed glimpses of what we are capable of regardless of the seven players out on the pitch, with a couple of excellent worked goals between Byrce, Joe and James. Unfortunately we did not 100% believe in our own abilities a 100% of the time, which would have made this game a much closer one and one that we were more than capable of winning.

However, positives to come out of the game -

Marking and positional play at set pieces was very good.

Joe`s goal, great build up, excellent passing finished off in style with a cracking shot.

Byrce`s effort tracking back.

Callum`s improved work rate.

And Finally......

Ollie, Made an excellent one handed save in the first half, saved another and took one in the face for his team in the process and was positive in using all his area well, especially to go and collect the ball from the oppositions long, long goal kicks.

So well done Ollie you deserved your Man of the Match today.

Ok boys, you have had two very different games and two very different results. Which one do you prefer?

Lets get back to playing as a team and believing in ourself for the rest of the season.
