Notes:
A True Team Effort
By Ian Holmes.

Excellent performance todays boys. From the start we bossed the game both physically and in footballing terms.

The passing was top drawer with several sweeping moves between Joe,Broggy, Bryce and James ending in goals or attempts on goals. We also did the simple stuff consistently, for example, marking the opposition for their goal kicks. This enabled us to get possession back quickly and start our passing game.

Another very encouraging sign was the shape we kept for most of the match. Players were not getting drawn the whole width/lenght of the pitch towards the ball, which meant when we got the ball back the passing was to players in space to run.

We scored some excellent goals today, two of which were exceptional to note:-

James Hardings, Beckham Like goal from the halfway line and Broggys thunderbolt in the top corner from outside the area.

Both Callum and Nathan stood strong in defence, making the tackles when needed. Towards the end of the match an excellent "one on one" save by Ollie when the opposition finally got behind our defence and great vision from his goal kick to Broggy, to turn defence into attack with one kick.

Well done to Broggy who was "Man of the Match".

Everyone worked their socks off today as a team and you got the result the performance deserved. Lets keep it up next week.
