Well done boys! Against probably the strongest team in the league we held our game for long periods.

In the first half they were much quicker to the ball than us but we picked our game up in the second half, competed much better and if we took our chances the result would have been much better.

Special mentions to Broggy for his bravery and effort, one not to fear getting his head to the ball, took a few knocks to the face etc. But much to his credit he came back on the pitch and carried on where he left off.

Well done  to Bryce on his return who was awarded "Man of the Match" by the opposition and got back on the scoresheet.

Coaches "Man of the Match" went to Nathan who was a rock in defence. If I recall he had his best game last season at Southwell. Keep it up Nathan.

And finally, James Harding who wore the captains armband and played a captains role, tireless running in defensive duties as well as attacking. Scored two good goals and talked to his team mates as a captain should. Well done James.

 Everyone keep up the good work, the season has only just started. We are showing signs of playing better as a team. If we keep up this effort we will win!!
