After a tight first half with Southwell dominating play, but only getting one goal it was a very entertaining second half. Despite going 3-0 down we stuck at it well and started to hold the ball and pass much better. After several near misses Ben F finally connected with one of Matts excellent corners to stab the ball home. Then Ben cut the deficit to 3-2 with a fantastic solo goal running from his own half before slotting home. We then pushed for the equaliser and deserved more than Southwells 2 late goals.

This was a really committed display by the whole team and we can be proud of our performance against one of the best teams in our league. The opposition manager gave Ben F the man of the match award for his hard working display and his 'goal of the season'.
