A great performance boys that deserved a better result.

To our credit you couldnt tell which team was top of the league. We bounced back well from last weeks defeat that saw a few heads drop. We were very unlucky to go in at half time 2-1 down, with Dan unluckily planting a header into the top corner of his own net and another scrambled effort. Matt's goal capped a great personal performance that deservedly won him the man of the match (sorry Wilf !). Dan, Josh & BenK worked tirelessly and BenF was back to his best in midfield. Jaydon covered every inch of grass and we werent treated to any of his 20m back passes this week !

We had plenty of chances in the second half, with Matt & BenF going close and Archie trying his luck from nearly 10m. We kept passing the ball well and it would be great to take this form into the second half of the season.

The referee came up to me at full time to tell me to thank our parents as you didnt contest any of his decisions - you are a credit to the team.
